La Sicaudrie is located about 6km south of the market town of Chalais in Southern Charente. From the channel ports head south to Tours, Poitiers and Angouleme. Avoid the centre of Angouleme by staying on the N10 following the signs to Bordeaux. Stay on the N10 and exit at Barbezieux Centre/Chalais. At first roundabout go straight over following sign for D24.At next roundabout take 3rd exit on the D731 towards Chalais. Stay on this road-passing through Condeon-Passirac-Bardenac and you will come to the roundabout at Chalais. Take the 1st exit towards Libourne on the D674. About 3 miles out of Chalais you will come across the local boulangerie at Le Grelis on the right hand side. Exactly one mile further on turn right at a small crossroads, direction Medillac. IGNORE ALL SIGNS FOR BAZAC. Immediately after turning right there is a fork, keep to the right, towards Medillac. 150 metres on the left is the property signposted La Sicaudrie.
